What a tough NIT Draw

Pack heads to Drexel with hopes of extending the season. I'm sure after playing four days in a row, Sidney was hoping for a little more time to mend and prepare, but guess that wasn't meant to be.

Found a few highlights of Drexel from their win over Syracuse:

You may remember Dominick Mejia. He looks a little older. He came in with Cam Bennerman, but didn't readily find playing time and probably made a wise decision to transfer. From what I remember he was quick and had a nice 3.

"I was really surprised when I heard we were playing NC State," Mejia said. "It helped us get over the disappointment of not being selected to the NCAAs and got us excited to play our next game.

Their coach, Bruiser Flint is an up-and-coming guy, and used to baby-sit Brandon Costner. Amazing h0w these story lines emerge:

"I call Bruiser [Flint] and Geoff Arnold my uncles," Costner said yesterday before the Wolfpack left Raleigh, N.C., for Philadelphia. Flint, Drexel's head coach, and Arnold, the Dragons' associate head coach, are former St. Joe's players. "They used to baby-sit me. I grew up around them. I've been to the DAC a couple times."
